This time, Matti, my brother Tomas, and my nephew Alvar and I loaded our canoes and embarked on an overnight canoe trip during the fall. Fall is the perfect season for hot tent camping, so we brought along our spacious Nortent Gamme 6PC equipped with the Winnerwell wood stove. The beauty of canoeing is that you can carry a substantial amount of gear, and we made full use of this advantage. Autumn has arrived, and the natural colors are at their peak. Whooper swans and other birds are beginning to gather for their grand migration to southern regions. Even though temperatures drop at night, it's still a wonderful season for canoe camping. This is one of the many reasons we cherish living in the northern countryside.
