Today, we're facing a difficult and heartbreaking situation that highlights the suffering of animals in overcrowded and neglected conditions. This facility, already devastated by recent floods and a fire, is home to hundreds of animals living in unsanitary, overcrowded conditions, many in need of urgent veterinary care for issues unrelated to the recent disasters. Despite our efforts to negotiate the surrender of animals from this site, we've had to obtain a warrant to ensure their welfare. As we enter the property, you’ll see the dire circumstances these animals are in, with some showing signs of illness, injury, and severe behavioural issues due to the overwhelming conditions. Our team is here to assess and rescue as many animals as possible, to provide them with the care they desperately need. We urge you to thoroughly vet any animal rescue organisation before offering support, as some well-intentioned donations have inadvertently funded suffering.
