🌸 Language: Hindi 🎼 Composer: Shree Swathi Thirunal (1813–1846), the renowned ruler of Travancore and an eminent composer whose works beautifully blend devotion, poetry, and classical musical sophistication. 🎶 Raga: Dhanashri (Hindustani style) Choreography: Smt.Manju Bhargavee, widely acclaimed for her memorable role in the landmark Telugu film Shankarabharanam. Meaning of the lyrics: The concluding piece, Dhanashri Thillana, portrays the vibrant spirit of a dancer performing in a recital. The Pallavi phrase “Naach Rahe Gori…” evokes the image of a graceful dancer joyfully immersed in movement. The Anupallavi unfolds in two expressive verses: • Verse 1 – “Baaje Payal Kaho, Jhanan Jhanan” The lyrics imitate the melodious sound of anklets, with rhythmic syllables like “Jhanan Jhanan” bringing the jingling payal to life. • Verse 2 – “Thaan Gaave Thaka Tha Thai Tha Thai” This verse describes the musical ensemble joining the melody in perfect harmony, creating a lively rhythmic dialogue between dance and music. The Charanam— “Padmanabha tumhaari leela, kya kahoon main, saawaro, thaap sankat haranayo, soha mhaaro tumaharo”— praises the greatness of Lord Padmanabha, expressing devotion and surrender. The devotee prays for the Lord to remove suffering and acknowledges Him as the ultimate source of joy. The narrative also alludes to the episode of Padmanabha humbling the sage Agastya, symbolizing the destruction of ego. The composition concludes with a vibrant Jathi, filled with rhythmic syllables such as “Tha Dheem Tha Dheem Dhirana…”,
