EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION UNDER RERA THE PROVISION OF EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE OF THE REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER/ AGENT IS DEFINED U/S 7 OF REAL ESTATE REGULATORY AUTHORITY. • The authority on receipt of the complaint or suo moto in this behalf or on the recommendation of the competent authority revoke the registration granted. On after being satisfied: 1. Promotor make default in doing anything required or under this act. 2. Promoter violate any of the terms and condition of the approval given by the competent authority. 3. Promoter is involved in any kind of unfair practices or irregularity. • The registration granted to the promoter earlier shall not be revoked unless the authority has given not less than 30 days notice in writing. • The authority may instead of revoking the registration permit it to remain in court in force subject to the further terms and conditions as think fit to impose in the interest of the authority and any such terms and conditions shall be binding upon promoter. • Authority upon the revocation of registration: 1. Shall debar the promoter from accessing its website in relation to the project. 2. Authority shall facilitate the remaining development work to be carried out. 3. Shall direct the bank holding the project back account to freeze the bank account and to take further action. 4. May issue such direction as it may deems fit to protect the interest of the allottee.
