Polk XT20 Speakers review; Maybe more of a pleasure than the Polk XT15, I think you might agree.

Greetings; were going to do a review for the Polk Monitor XT20 Bookshelf Speakers. We did a review on the Polk Monitor XT15, and in that review I talked about how it was a pleasure to listen to those speakers; well let me tell you that it’s even more of a pleasure to me to listen to these. The sound is the same, but as you might expect, it’s just more of it. You get more body, more depth, a bigger sound stage. I played the XT15’s in a medium to large room and they were okay really pretty good, but these, the XT20 really filled up the room. I guess they would be ok as Atmos speakers in a large system, but I really see them as a pair of mains in an average sized room. The XT series has a very elegant look to me, with or without the grills that are detachable and since they are rear ported there are easy to place. The finish is called Midnight Black, and it’s a very nice vinyl wrap. And they have 5 way binding post. These speakers have a , 1" Terylene Tweeter & 6.5" Woofer Frequency response: 38-40,000 Hz Rated up to 200 watts Sensitivity: 87 dB and Impedance: 8 ohms They have detachable grills and there are some specs for these speakers displayed in the description. And are rear ported. I had these in one of my listening are for a while, I just liked playing to them. They don’t need a subwoofer, but I liked them a lot more with the subwoofer. A very nice set of speakers.
