Beneteau introduced the Swift Trawler to the world in 2003 and since then over 1500 Trawlers, ranging in size from 30-62 ft have been sold, with numerous examples cruising the east coast of Australia. The Swift Trawler 30 is entry into the popular range and in many ways the replacement of the highly successful Swift Trawler 34 in terms of volume and layout of which hundreds were sold worldwide. The Swift Trawler 30 sports a semi-planing hull giving her a top speed of 24 knots when you want to get places quickly, which means effortless high speed cruising at 16-17 knots, or a very leisurely 8-10 knots where with Volvo D6 370hp shaft drive diesel engine she consumes around 13 litres an hour, delivering exceptional economy for a boat of this size. Smartly, the fuel economy rate is the same whether you're cruising at 11 knots or flat out at 24 knots. The Swift Trawler 30 is very cleverly designed, so it feels like a much larger boat than her 32ft LOA suggests with incredible flow, visibility and ventilation throughout the various living area's.
