Welcome back to Fahid's Kitchen. Today we are making Halal Carbonara Style Spaghetti using Beef Bacon. Before the "Carbonara Police" come to arrest me: Yes, I know authentic Carbonara uses Guanciale (cured pork jowl). But we don't eat pork, and honestly, finding Guanciale requires a quest to a specialty store. So, we are using Beef Bacon. It’s smoky, it’s salty, and it gets crispy. That’s all we need. O and yes it’s Halal Certified so before the Haram Police come after me just remember Bacon is just a cutting method and doesn’t mean “pork”. You can also use Turkey Bacon.
