From traditional dishes like miso soup and tempura to quick and healthy meals, all recipes are explained step-by-step. 【Miso Soup with Wakame and Tofu】 Serves 1–2 | Prep & Cook Time: 15 min 『Ingredients』 Firm tofu: ½ block Dried wakame seaweed: 8 g Mixed miso paste: 50 g Green onions: 5 g 『Broth』 Water: 600 ml Cooking sake: 1 tbsp Soy sauce: ½ tsp Hondashi (Japanese soup stock powder): 1 tbsp Instructions Combine all broth ingredients in a pot and bring to a gentle heat so the flavors meld. Slice the green onions into thin rounds. Cut the tofu into your preferred size (here, ½ block into 16 cubes). Rehydrate the dried wakame in water. Once the broth is warmed, add the rehydrated wakame along with the soaking water. Gradually dissolve the miso paste into the broth. Add the tofu cubes. Add the green onions.
