Don't wallow in bed for hours in the mornings thinking of the gloom. GO FOR A WALK. Force yourself to get up, go outside and walk for 30 mins and I promise you, it will make you feel better. No matter if you live in the city or countryside, just get up and go, no shower or faff - do that when you come back. I also add in a reward on my walk - which to me as a croissant and an ice coffee from the local shop! This helps with the motivation to get out of the safety of your bed.
