Today we are visiting one of the forgotten lands of Indonesia, specifically in Jakarta. It's a place called 'Tanah Abang', which is a location that tourists almost NEVER visit, and you may see why on the outside. It's one of many slum areas within the city, but for the few that do visit, apart from the poor living conditions, which is hard to witness, there local people here are some of the friendliest and most welcoming I have found in the whole country. This warm hearted nature is what I want to show you today, so instead of visiting the malls, and beaches, remember that magic is found in the less visited and often forgotten areas of Indonesia.
