🍄 This is the story of my 5-week morel mushroom hunt as a first-time morel forager, looking for one of the most elusive and sought-after spring fungi. We'll cover what a morel hunt looks like on the ground, the common morel look-alikes (I found a few of those!), and how to tell the difference between a true morel and a false morel. I also share a couple of easy morel recipes for both true and false morel mushrooms and some common precautions regarding the way they should be cooked for safe eating.
