Outback to Exhibition to Danny's Run is a beginner ski run located at Berkshire East Mountain Resort. The trails run from the summit of the ski area, down to the base area. The run starts off on Outback which begins off the back of the mountain. The trail is pretty mellow, with some small tiny dips, winding its way around the back of the mountain curving towards the right back towards the center of the mountain. The trail ends at the top of the Wilderness Quad, where I continued to ski under the chairlift onto Exhibition, a wide-open mellow trail that runs straight underneath the Wilderness Quad. At the bottom of the trail, I took a right onto Danny's Run, a short connector trail to the lodge and summit lifts since the Wilderness chairlift was not open the day I visited. Berkshire East Mountain Resort is a ski resort located in Charlemont, Massachusetts. The ski area is situated right off of State Route 2 in the northern Berkshire Mountains in Western Franklin county. The ski area is located about an hour drive north of Springfield and about a 2h 15min drive west of Boston. With just under 200 acres of skiing, Berkshire East is the second-largest ski area in Massachusetts in terms of skiable area and with a vertical of 1,200 feet, it is the tallest ski area in the state. The ski area is known for its small, local, and family-friendly vibe, providing a large variety of mostly groomed terrain for all skill levels from the same peak. The resort also has tubing in the winter and a large bike park, ziplines, and one of the best mountain coasters I've ever ridden in the summer. The ski resort is family-owned, owned by the same family which also owns Catamount, which is also located partially in Massachusetts, with the rest being located in New York. The resort is an Indy Pass member, granting pass holders two days at the resort.
