Saoirse Ronan Tells the Story of Domhnall Gleeson Getting His 'Star Wars' Role

Brooklyn hit select theaters back on November 4th, but it's due to expand on November 25th and if you haven't had the chance to see it yet, I can't recommend it enough. It's an adaptation of the Colm Tóibín novel of the same name and stars Saoirse Ronan as Eilis Lacey, a young woman from Ireland who opts to leave her family behind and try her luck in Brooklyn, New York. She's a bit homesick at first, but when she meets and falls for Tony (Emory Cohen), she finally starts to feel like she can build a life for herself there longterm. However, when a family tragedy strikes and requires that she return to Ireland, Jim Farrell (Domhnall Gleeson) makes her rethink her future.
