As a computer science major freshman its vital to get the strong foundations in the essentials of computer science like algorithms, data structures and time complexity analysis. One of the best things about being a computer science major (or a computer science related major) is the ability to specialize and focus on so many different emerging technologies. You can become a data scientist, an AI researcher, a web developer or more broadly a software engineer. In this video I just wanted to quickly highlight potential career paths for computer science majors or people who are generally interested in computer science and programming. With the onset of many free learning resources it is becoming easier and easier to learn marketable skills like computer science without attending a 4-year university. Whether you're a pure computer science major looking for potential careers, a veteran software engineer looking for a career shift or a self-taught programmer hoping to specialize, I hope you find value out of the computer science careers I highlight.
