These cookies mark the end of the fasting period in spectacular and delicious style. Those who have grown up in maamoul making household may appreciate this stuffed cookies. If you have ever tasted traditional maamoul cookies, you'll know why they are so special. They taste incredible and are entirely unique. As tradition dictates, woman in Lebanese villages gathered a few days earlier and began the ritual of making maamoul. It is eaten at Easter Day itself a way to break the lent.
