Welcome back to another Division 2 build video! So in today's video I'm gonna break down and showcase three of some of the best armor regeneration builds for year 7 season 1! Armor regeneration is one of those attributes that can be super viable when stacked. Besides the initial benefit being an increase in survivability. It also makes higher difficulty runs a lot easier, especially if you're playing solo. And with the way these PVE builds are setup, with the gear talents, attributes, things like that, there's a great amount of damage as well. This first armor regen build utilizes one of the most sought-after exotic pieces in the game at the moment, and that's the catalyst exotic mask. The catalyst mask is actually a very viable piece, and it's hella fun to play with. But the viability of this mask comes from it's multiple functions. One of which provides your agent with damage and status effect buffs. And you actually get a decent amount. But if you couple the catalyst mask with the iron lung LMG, you get a decent combination, which shouldn't be too surprising if you consider the talents on both of these pieces. The catalyst mask and iron lung have like the perfect synergy. And this is because the Iron lung causes burn damage over time. And so the catalyst mask is not only increasing that damage over time, but the weapon damage as well. So for the primary weapon, the Iron Lung comes with the talent Ardent. And with this talent, firing your weapon will cause the gun to heat up, filling up a heat meter as a result. And once this meter is full, any shots landed after that will set an enemy on fire. This next build has slightly more armor regeneration and survivability, with more overall damage. So with this setup, I'm using the striker ballistic shield variant, which actually provides a pretty nice damage boost per number of enemies in front of your shield. And you actually get a decent amount. But the one annoying downside with using the ballistic shield is that the NPCs tend to destroy it quickly, especially on legendary difficulty. But the damage increase feels nice though. Plus, it's a nice way to have cover while you're moving. So it's still a viable skill, and it only adds additional survivability. Not to mention, you're also able to use an assault rifle with the ballistic shield while it's equipped, so that's another huge benefit. For the primary weapon, I'm currently using the caretaker. This is a named high-end assault rifle that comes with the perfect killer talent. And as many of you guys know, killer is a great talent that kinda works similar to strained. But honestly, any decent AR will work great with this setup. You'll just need to recalibrate the killer talent on whatever weapon you decide to use. For this last build, I'm using the Chameleon exotic assault rifle. This is probably one of the best exotic weapons in the game right now. It's weapon talent, adaptive instincts is super effective in PVE. With the adaptive instincts talent, you're getting 3 different buffs that will essentially increase your DPS. One of them grants a huge 90% weapon damage increase after landing 65 body shots. So this weapon is a powerhouse in itself. And when you combine that with the damage buff coming from the exotic catharsis mask, the damage gets increased even further. But the catharsis mask also has healing properties, so it will enhance your survivability as well. So with adaptive instincts, you're getting 3 different buffs. For landing 30 headshots, you get 20% critical hit chance and 50% critical hit damage for 45 seconds. And for landing 65 body shots, you get a 90% weapon damage increase. Then finally, you get a 150% reload speed bonus for landing 20 leg shots. But try the Saint Elmo's engine if you don't have the chameleon, because since you can shock, it makes for a great alternative. Also, if you haven't yet.
