Friends, we are happy to present this recording of a recent Agrarian Voices Lecture, recorded last October right here in New Castle. This time, we're joined by Amish farmer, writer, naturalist, and publisher David Kline from Holmes County, Ohio to discuss his book The Round Of A Country Year (our 2024 Agrarian Literary League of Henry County selection). Joining Mr. Kline and serving as moderator for the evening was The Berry Center Farm & Forest Institute's own Rick Thomas, Teaching Teamster and Woodland Skills Instructor. In deference to Mr. Kline's cultural practices, we did not record the video of this conversation, but instead offer you a nice place by the wood stove to hear these two great agrarian practitioners share stories, jokes, and maybe even a little advice.
