PACKRAFT ADVENTURE on the border of SAREK NATIONAL PARK | Packrafting with MRS Ponto

A 5 days Packraft Adventure on the Border of Sarek National Park. Rapadalen or Rapa valley in Sarek National Park is one of the most famous valleys in the Swedish mountain range. This time me, Matti, and some friends went with MRS Ponto packrafts to paddle to the Rapavalley. I want to make clear that IT IS TOTALLY FORBIDDEN to paddle with canoe, packraft or any kind of boat inside Sarek National Park. We respect and follow the rules and we where only paddling outside the park and to the border of Sarek. The delta, in Sweden called Rapadeltat consists of many different canals and small lakes and it’s more than enough to go with packraft for several days. During this packrafting adventure we saw tracks from elks (moose), brown bears, otter and we also so many different kinds of birds. This packrafting trip I did together with Melina and Micke who have followed on several tours before. Then also an old friend, Karen, followed and this was the first trip together for a very long time.
