Warbirds Assemble in California for Central Coast AirFest 2025

The Central Coast AirFest, hosted by the Planes of Fame Air Museum at Santa Maria Airport in California, took place over 18th and 19th October 2025. Despite the US government shutdown resulting in the cancellation of the USAF F-35A & USN Rhino Demo Teams, the air show continued to shine with a plethora of warbird displays. Highlights include Captain Eddie's stunning Fairey Firefly AS.6, one of only two currently airworthy examples in the world - an aircraft that was only on static display at Central Coast AirFest 2024 but made a very rare appearance in this year's flying display as part of the Pacific Theatre Fighters' slot.
