Warbirds assemble in California for Central Coast AirFest 2024

The Central Coast AirFest, hosted by Planes of Fame at Santa Maria Airport in California, took place last weekend over 21st and 22nd September 2024. The majority of the show’s performers were warbirds of numerous types from many different war theatres, some of which are considered to be very rare indeed. As a result, we decided to come up with a warbirds video featuring all the best clips taken of the warbirds from the Friday practice day and the weekend’s show days. Highlights of the show have to include the de Havilland Mosquito formation - the first to take place in nearly 40 years; 2x P-51A Mustangs; a P-63 Kingcobra and two P-47 Thunderbolts - one of which being ‘Snafu’, a former resident at Duxford with The Fighter Collection.
