Greetings YouTubers and welcome to Buzzin’ Along! This episode is an extra special one. Come along with me, my wife, our son Andrew, and our daughter-in-law Ali on a five-day bucket list rafting trip down Oregon’s incredible Owyhee River — one of the most remote and breathtaking rivers in the country. We covered about 60 miles from Rome to Leslie Gulch through dramatic canyon walls, hidden hot springs, and jaw-dropping rock formations. Along the way, we tackled some exhilarating rapids, wandered through awe-inspiring desert landscapes, and soaked in long, peaceful stretches of river that were downright blissful. The stillness out there — no roads, no cell service — just canyon walls and sky — it’s something I’ll never forget. Our trip was expertly led by the outstanding crew from Momentum River Expeditions — Chris (our lead guide, aka Topher), Alexi, Elena, Amanda, and Connor. Not only did they get us safely downriver, they also kept us laughing, told great stories, and served up absolutely phenomenal meals. Sharing those riverside dinners with new friends under the stars was pure joy. As if that weren’t enough, two of the guides — Chris and Alexi — are gifted musicians who wrote and performed a custom jingle just for our channel! You’ll hear it in the video and again at the end — a perfect soundtrack to an unforgettable journey. Every moment of this trip — the highs, the quiet pauses, the camaraderie — exceeded my expectations.
