The full video of our departure to Naples on a TUI Airways 737-800. I have travelled on many 737s in the past, so nothing new aircraft-wise, however this was actually my first time flying from East Midlands, despite me visiting the airport many times before. Despite this, we still didn't get much time actually at the airport before our flight departed, due to there being lots of roadworks and diversions away from the motorway, however from the short time we were there, it seemed a decent airport. Our departure took us initially west, followed by a turn to the south, in which we were offered an amazing view of the clouds at sunrise as it was early in the morning. This was followed by the rest of the climb, which was uneventful, and the flight to Naples, over the French Alps. More information is in the Trip Report.
