We have been wanting to start an outdoor kitchen for awhile now. Yet, gardening and planting the veggies, are primary goals once the ground is thawed and the end of frost is near. So, some things get started and then have to take the back burner until more time allows. Now, is finally time to get back to that idea of cooking outdoors in a designated spot. I am thinking, fall time Bottling and canning, food preservation, when its too hot to do it in the house but is needing to get done. Meals cooked over an open fire or Bbq'd and enjoyed in the fresh air. We love to be outside, and do a lot of cooking on the deck already. So having a designated place to prepare, cook and enjoy out there, will be best kind. We only get it started, before it's time for him to head back to work again, but now that it's started, it'll be top on the list for when he gets home again. We also take time to have a delicious lobster boil, with some of the family. Would be even better if more of the family could have joined us. "more than all the waterdrops in the sea" Even though we can't fish for lobster ourselves, we know a local fisherman who can hook us up. What a scoff we had, delicious and prepared within minutes of coming out of the water. You can't get much fresher than that. "More than all the waterdrops in the sea" Thanks for joining us, for another day of our everyday off grid journey.
