The Adventures of Captain Comic is a platform game written by Michael Denio. It has been said that this game inspired many other platform games that followed in the early 1990's. In this game you play as Captain Comic, a galactic hero tasked with recovering 3 treasures from the planet Tambi. You move through various environments on the planet such as castle grounds, a wharf, the moon, a spaceship, underground caves and a castle. The gameplay is rather clunky and it is very hard to shoot as you cant seem to aim properly, but this is to be expected for the age of the game. In my opinion, this just adds to the nostalgia and creates a layer of difficulty to the game. It is very hard in the beginning but as you gain more blasta colas to increase firepower and the corkscrew to spin your bullets, it gets easier. In this video I play through the whole game from start to finish. It takes a bit of time to really get the hang of the gameplay and what to do with the teleporting wand. You also cant save your game so if you lose all your lives you have to start all over again.
