Experience the incredible flavors of Central Asia with this traditional dish called Dymdama. This is the ultimate "set it and forget it" meal where the meat and vegetables steam together in their own juices, creating a tender, flavorful feast. It’s healthy, packed with nutrients, and the perfect family dinner that looks as good as it tastes! 🛒 Ingredients Meat: Sliced (using meat with a little fat is best for flavor!) Vegetables: Onion, Tomato, Potato, Carrot, Cabbage, Paprika (Bell Pepper) Fresh Herbs: Green Coriander (Cilantro) Dried Herbs & Spices: Salt, Black Pepper, Oregano, Cumin, Red Paprika powder Sauce: 1 tbsp Tomato Paste mixed with 1/2 cup water Oil: For the base 👩🍳 Cooking Instructions The Base: Heat a large, heavy-bottomed pan or pot and add a little oil. Layer your sliced meat (with fat) at the bottom. The Layers: Begin layering your sliced vegetables (onion, tomato, potato, carrot, paprika) over the meat. Seasoning: Sprinkle your herbs (salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, paprika) and fresh coriander between the layers for maximum flavor. Repeat: Add a second layer of vegetables and the remaining herbs. The Cabbage Lid: Cover the entire top with large, thick slices of cabbage. This acts as a natural "seal" to keep the steam inside. The Liquid: Pour your mix of tomato paste and water over the top. The Steam: Close the lid tightly. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, then immediately turn the heat to low. Let it steam slowly in its own juices until the meat and potatoes are melt-in-your-mouth tender usually for 1:30 hours. #viral #motivation #love #food #inspiration #easyrecipe #foodie #Dymdama #OnePotMeal #CentralAsianFood #HealthyDinner #SteamedVeggies #ComfortFood #CookingChannel #MeatLovers
