You can’t improve what you don’t measure, this was my first real look under the hood. In this episode, I go through my first full set of performance lab tests as part of my Ironman preparation, including VO₂max testing, lactate threshold testing, and a DEXA scan. These tests give an honest snapshot of where my engine is right now, before the real training volume begins. This isn’t about chasing numbers or comparing myself to anyone else. It’s about understanding my current baseline, identifying weaknesses, and knowing exactly what I need to work on as I prepare for a full Ironman.
