Here's another recipe from DietDoctor.com and once again it was a big hit. Very easy to make and so tasty! The only real change I made was to use just over 600g of ground beef mince because our stores don't carry 700g (1-1/2 lb) packs. The half kilo packs sometimes vary though, they're around 500g but I was able to find one that was just over 600g - so I got 6 burgers rather than 8. Oh, and if you use fresh parsley you may need 50g in each step below, but the dried parsley I found was an 8g pack, and I used half in the burgers and half in the sauce. The instructions said to sprinkle it on top to serve, but I just added it in with the sauce ingredients. Anyway, we loved this, and I'll definitely make it again. I served it with southern boiled cabbage, which you'll find in my previous recipe video. It was a great combination! Ingredients • 1½ lbs (700 g) ground beef • 1 egg • 3 oz. (75 g) feta cheese • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 pinch black pepper • 2 oz. (50 g) parsley, finely chopped • 1 tablespoon olive oil • 1 tablespoon butter Gravy • 2⁄3 cup (150 ml) heavy whipping cream • 2 oz. (50 g) parsley, coarsely chopped • 1 tablespoon tomato paste • Salt and pepper Instructions 1. Mix the ingredients and form 8 oblong patties. 2. Fry on medium high with both butter and olive oil for at least 10 minutes or until the patties have turned a nice color. 3. Pour the tomato paste and the whipping cream into the pan when the patties are almost done. Stir and let the cream boil together. 4. Add parsley at the time of serving. Serving suggestion: Goes great with shredded green cabbage fried in butter.
