SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City December 11, 2025 Celebrating the partnership between the public and private sectors aimed at improving the lives of Filipino workers, supporting entrepreneurs, and advancing national development, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the Job Fair + Skills E-Hub at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) in Pasay City. Job Fair + Skills E-Hub is a special initiative by the Office of the President (OP) in partnership with the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and SM Supermalls. “Since 2023, our partnership with the Private Sector Advisory Council or PSAC through its Trabaho Para sa Bayan or Job Opportunities Building Skills has opened many doors to Filipinos. We have organized more than 5,000 job fairs across the country, reaching over 1.3 million job seekers and helping more than 200,000 – 200,000 of them who get hired-on-the-spot,” President Marcos Jr. stated. Acknowledging the challenges job seekers face in finding employment that matches their skills, interests and goals, the President considers it the government’s duty to provide support. “All of these is designed to make it easier for job seekers to process their requirements and to receive assistance in one convenient place,” he added. Aside from the SM Mall of Asia, the Job Fair + Skills E-Hub is simultaneously held in eight (8) other sites nationwide, bringing together a large-scale job fair and digital upskilling. Likewise, several malls in Metro Manila are hosting holiday bazaars that showcase micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), celebrating the creativity, determination and entrepreneurial spirit of Filipinos. Similar job fairs, caravans from government agencies, and DOLE’s assistance programs for qualified recipients are also being held, including payouts under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD), sacks of rice under the bigasan enterprises, and checks under the Adjustment Measures Program for MSMEs. “By organizing this event, the PSAC shows that they are not merely advisers but contributors who are more than willing to work with the government in advancing the nation’s priorities and their aspirations,” the Chief Executive said. “To our job seekers: make the most of this moment. Equip yourselves with new skills, be open to new ways of doing things. The global workforce is changing very, very quickly – but I believe the Filipino will keep pace, even lead, when given the right support and the right opportunities. To our entrepreneurs: This is your stage. Show the excellence, the creativity, the innovation that define the Filipino spirit. Use this occasion to build partnerships, explore new ideas, and envision bigger possibilities,” he emphasized. President Marcos Jr. assured that the Administration will continue to foster a fair, transparent and enabling business environment that attracts both local and foreign investments, rewarding persistence with progress. * * Connect with RTVM Website: http://rtvm.gov.ph Facebook: www.facebook.com/presidentialcom and www.facebook.com/rtvmalacanang YouTube: @RTVMalacanang Tiktok: @RTVMalacanang
