To be filled means to supply to the fullest extent, to satiate, to complete…to satisfy! While meditating on being filled with the Holy Spirit, a recipe for brand new Wine came to mind as I asked the Lord to fill me and to overflow my heart. I don’t have to speak in tongues to be immersed in Gods presence. I don’t have to jump through any man’s spiritual hoops to get approved for ‘filling’. I simply need to open my heart and life to His deep abiding presence and allow Him to engulf and embrace me in any way He desires. The result is always good and satisfying, and like any good recipe, leaves us desiring more!
