MR James is the renown author of many classic ghost stories, but 'A Warning to the Curious' is special because the locations it uses are so easily identifiable and accessible. Seaburgh in the story is Aldeburgh in Suffolk. Froston is Theberten, a few miles outside Aldeburgh. The White Lion is the Bear Hotel. Others pinpoint Sluice Cottage as the Ager's place. And the Martello Tower is right there to the south of the town. This short video is based entirely on the coverage provided by wonderful MR James podcast.
