This video is a full 50-hour and 125-hour service maintenance guide for a 2022 FOX Factory Series Float 34 Step-cast (stepcast, step cast) fork with a FIT4 (FIT 4) damper. IMO, FOX did a great job with making this fork service friendly, as the fork really doesn't require many proprietary tools. The 50-hour service is easy, and there really is no reason why you shouldn't keep on top of it. AFAIK, 50-hour service jobs offer the greatest return out of all mountain bike service jobs. The air spring service is easy enough. If you want, you can do it during the 50-hour service to keep the grease fresh (no need to change seals), and/or do it every 125-hours or annually to replace the seals. As for the damper, IMO, there are two options. You can service the entire damper, both the compression and rebound sections, just be careful with the shim stack when working on the compression section. Or, if you regularly service the fork and don't experience any issues with your dials, or see any signs of corrosion when removing the dials, then you can skip opening the compression stack and replacing the bladder, and do this job every 2nd or 3rd interval, and just work on the rebound section and replace the oil. It's up to you. As always, if there are any questions, let me know, and I'll get to them as soon as I can.
