This is my first Spring Festival spent abroad. Far from home, I decided to make dumplings by myself — starting completely from scratch. No digital scale. No rolling pin. No familiar Chinese seasonings. Just flour, water, a lot of trial and error… and patience. This video is an immersive record of my journey as a complete beginner: from sticky dough and misshapen wrappers to finally enjoying a pot of homemade dumplings. Maybe dumplings aren’t just food — they’re a way to feel closer to home. It's best to add it gradually.)
