This week’s training says it all… things didn’t go as planned 😮💨 In this episode of Ultra Marathon Training Diaries: Season 2, Chapter 4, I open up about a really scary moment where I almost passed out from severe dehydration and not eating enough 🥵💧 on top of training through single-digit and negative-degree temperatures ❄️🥶. It was a wake-up call about listening to my body, fueling properly 🥗⚡️, and respecting the conditions I’m training in. Ultra training isn’t always strong miles and big wins 🏃♀️💪. Sometimes it’s learning the hard way when you push too far, don’t fuel enough, or underestimate the weather ⚠️🌬️. I’m sharing this to be real about what the process actually looks like, the mistakes that happen, and what I’m changing moving forward. Hoping the next couple of weeks bring better weather 🌤️, better fueling 🍽️, and stronger, safer training 🙌.
