From Archer River to Bramwell Station, this leg of our Cape York trip is packed with action and a few surprises. We kick things off by helping fellow travellers seal up their vans against the dust and show how our own dust filter is holding up on the corrugated tracks this year compared to our last trip. The corrugations are no joke – so we put the drone in the air for the first time to capture the roughest section we could find! In Weipa, we catch up on some admin, explore Cullen Point and New Mapoon (and discover another cracking burger spot). Then it’s time to push further north – with a night at Bramwell Station before rolling onto the iconic Old Telegraph Track. This is just the beginning of the 4x4 challenges ahead!
