So, simply repeat each training week of a program, adding weight or reps to every set that you can, until progress stalls. Then go on to the next week. This small change will allow you the time to learn the movement patterns and THEN actually get stronger at them. You won't have to wonder whether you're actually progressing, or just happen to be getting more competent at performing certain exercises.
