Every dollar you spend is an investment in your community and where you spend your money is important. What if you could measure your those investments in your community? Stacey Burns, Vice President of Business Innovation, Better Business Bureau Southern Colorado, is working to increase understanding and measurement of Social Return on Investment. Stacey Burns is a native of Colorado, living in various regions of the state all of her life, but has spent a majority of her career in Colorado Springs. She is currently the Vice President of Business Innovation at Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado & the Colorado Institute for Social Impact. The CI4SI seeks to educate organizations on the power of the emerging Fourth Sector of the economy using entrepreneurial strategies to solve social issues in our community. She is currently working to increase the understanding & measurement of Social Return on Investment through CI4SI, a process she has been developing since 2009. She is a member of the El Paso County Community Services Block Grant Advisory Board. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology & English from CU-Boulder & a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology & Counselor Education from CU-Denver Health Sciences.
