AIAA UNSW Public Lecture-Formula One Aerodynamics- Dr Sammy Diasinos

AIAA UNSW hosted a public lecture by Dr Sammy Diasinos on Formula One Aerodynamics.Dr Sammy Diasinos, an alumnus of UNSW and former head of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Development at Caterham F1 (and now lecturing at Macquarie University),gave an engaging lecture on his path to Formula One and the current technology used in the sport. Dr Diasinos gave a unique insight into the often secretive world of Formula One Aerodynamics, outlining some of the latest developments in Formula One aerodynamics and CFD technology. He also gave valuable advice to the students in the crowd regarding the best ways to make it in this highly competitive industry.
