Todays video brings us to this Chick Fil A location , as well as a Starbucks where we documented the lunch rush for each drive thru. A gal and the cow mascot from Chick Fil A came out & it almost seemed like the mascot was trying to block my camera by waving their hand when Id move my camera from his or her line of sight. They went back in after a few minutes. At that time we moved around the corner where the attendants were taking food orders. After a couple minutes, a representative from the establishment came out to speak with us. He did acknowledge we were on the public sidewalk, but expressed his concern with us recording the employees because they were handling cash. That was a first to hear, I always thought cash transactions took place at the window & debit/ credit transactions were handled near where we were recording. He went back inside without further incident & we moved along toward the Starbucks. After a few minutes of recording the drive thru, an employee came out to tell us we couldn't record the operations. She told us if we continued to record, she'd have to call someone as she made her way back inside. An individual in the drive thru took notice of us & decided to give a cam back as he was approaching the pick up window. Moments later he circled back around in the drive thru to ask why we were recording. This conversation went on for a bit & as other customers were in line behind him, they began honking & seemed like he was telling him to move up in line. after he exited the line, we noticed he was pulled up around the corner, parked along the curb with his windshield visor us & chatting with my recording partner. I made my way over as well to document the conversation. He was mainly poking for information as to why we were there , wanted to know how we got there , how long we'd be there for & so on. I was having fun with this one telling him I parachuted in & was gonna be taking a rocket ship to later leave the area. This went on for a decent amount of time before he gave up & finally went on his way.
