🎥 Adirondack Journey to 46 2025: I have had my sights on completing the Great Range Traverse for some time now and just had to get it checked off on this trip. The weather was perfect and I went for it. It was an amazing day in the high peaks that tested me both physically and mentally. This amazing day started for me at 3am leaving my Inn in Keene Valley. I did the long hike in to start ascending Marcy first then continued down the range to summit Haystack, Basin, Gothics, Armstrong, Upper Wolfjaw, Lower Wolfjaw, Hedgehog and Roostercomb before completing my loop back to the Inn. 10 peaks, 26 miles, 1 amazing day of hiking in the high peaks. The Hike: 📍 Location: Adirondack High Peaks, Great Range 🏔️ Distance: 26 Miles ⬆️ Elevation Gain: 10,500 feet ⏱️ Time: 16 hours 22 minutes total time 🚗 Trailhead: Loop from Roostercomb Inn (Keene Valley) to Roostercomb Inn 🗺️ Difficulty: Hard 💧Filled up before ascending Marcy and carried all the water I needed for the day.
