Palak Paneer recipe (पालक पनीर) #PalakPaneerrecipe #PunjabiPalakPaneer #PaneerkiSabji A few days ago, when I made Palak Paneer Pulao, my daughter asked me that mumma since we are not visiting any street side restaurants or dhaba, can you please make Palak Paneer that too Dhaba style …. so well here you go. Ingredients : 2 tsp (for Palak Paneer) + 1.5 tbs Ghee (for tadka) 2 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta) 2 small Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini) 2 Dry Red Chillies 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 1 small piece of finely chopped Ginger Knob 4-5 finely chopped Garlic Cloves 1 medium sized finely chopped Onion Salt as per taste 1 tsp Garam Masala Pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 3 medium sized Tomato Puree A big bunch of Spinach (Add Palak in hot water, remove in 5 seconds & transfer in a bowl of Ice Water to cool down) Big bunch of Coriander Leaves 2 Green Chillies 1/2 Lemon Juice 1/4 cup Cashew Paste (alternatively 1/4 cup Fresh Cream or 1 tbs Malai can be used) 200 gm Paneer, cut into cubes 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder Method : Blanch Palak and keep aside to cool down Heat a pan, add 2 tsp Ghee Add 2 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta) Add 2 small Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini) Add 2 Dry Red Chillies Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera) Add 1 small piece of finely chopped Ginger Knob Add 2 finely chopped Garlic Cloves Add 1 medium sized finely chopped Onion Add Salt as per taste Add 1 tsp Garam Masala Add a pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi) Fry well and add 3 medium sized Tomato Puree Cover the lid and let it cook To Make Palak Puree:- In a mixer jar, take blanched Palak Add a big bunch of Coriander Leaves Add 2 Green Chillies Add 1/2 Lemon Juice Churn to make puree Add this puree into pan Add 1/4 cup Cashew Paste and mix it well Add 200 gm Paneer, cut into cubes Cook for 5 min and turn off the heat Further for tempering (tadka) heat another pan Add approx 1.5 tbs Ghee Add 2-3 finely chopped Garlic Cloves Add 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder and fry Further take Palak Paneer in a serving bowl and pour tadka on it Serve this Scrumptious Palak Paneer with Puri, Paratha, Roti, Chawal or Bread. 00:01 - Making of Palak Paneer Dhaba Style 00:14 - Blanching of spinach 00:48 - Preparing the curry 02:07 - Adding flavour 02:30 - Put in tomatoes 02:40 - Churning spinach 03:08 - Pour in the spinach puree 03:17 - Cashew paste 03:40 - Put the Paneer cubes 04:04 - Preparing the Tempering 04:30 - Plating time 04:51 - Meghna tasting Palak Paneer .
