Artist Vlog: speed painting, art opening, and a snowy walk for inspiration

Hello hello, I've been navigating a new schedule these last few weeks and have been eager to share what I've been thinking about and working on. So glad to get some slow mornings lately, not only for my own mental health, but so I can put together a video for you. There was an art opening I wanted to share, as well as a little time in the studio painting. I'm extra grateful for any time spent there these days, whether it's to tidy, get organized, or to paint- it all helps! I hope you enjoy this little painting I did, mostly acrylic on primed paper with tempera at the end. Since my schedule has been going through a little transformation I spend more time formulating action plans, making lists and jotting down grant ideas, reviewing residency applications, and all the behind-the-scenes kind of things artist do. I've been looking over paintings and pondering new ideas for upcoming shows and sometimes a walk is all that's needed to solidify ideas.
