Dump Truck Loses Breaks: Destroys Camaro and Honda. Up in the wealthy city of Brentwood, we were called for a major accident recovery involving a dump truck and multiple cars. What made this one extra tricky were the knocked down power poles and small residential street. If not for a tree, the dump truck would have gone over into a construction site down below. The game plan to lift and rotate the truck to the street was not possible due to the power lines dangling. The power company helped out a bit by using their truck to raise the lines as high as possible, but even then this meant I had to do this job in two steps. We used the booms from the rotators on opposite ends of the power lines, then strategically re-rigged to switch sides to get it on the street and ready for me to tow it away.
