Norfolk Southern at Goshen a few miles south of Elkhart

Goshen is a great place to watch trains on the Norfolk Southern (former NYC) mainline. It's about 10 miles south east of Elkhart, there's a great spot at Martin's supermarket, you can park in the car park right by the tracks. As I drove down to Goshen I was passed by a BNSF powered coal train, it was going at about 40mph and I couldn't keep up with all the traffic lights. Then I found the tank train parked up and pulled into Martin's supermarket car park. The tank stayed parked for another 4 trains to pass. First an east bound stack train, followed by a CP manifest with 4 locos on the front, then a west bound empty grain train and as this was going past an east bound stack train went through too. Now it was the turn of the tank train headed by an ACe to make it's getaway. Then we have an east bound CP manifest. Finally the Goshen local arrived, I moved further into Goshen to film this, Brunk plastics is the customer for the hoppers and then there is a small yard the fills the gondolas with waste building material.
