This session focus on BAFT’s outreach to the Latin America and Caribbean respondent banks in region to expand the discussion on trade finance with subject matter experts from correspondent banks that will include a global bank, and national US bank, a regional US bank, along with an LAC respondent bank. The panelists will delve into the trends of export trade finance with respondent banks and portfolio risk management. How correspondent banks are refocusing and working with their respondent relationships to expand trade and implement new trade products and risk mitigation solutions. This session will also explore the latest tools, strategies (including ESG) and innovative solutions that continue to drive change in global trade in the Latin America and Caribbean Region. We will touch on how the industry has evolved regarding the latest advancements in innovation, automation and technology that are transforming document handling and portfolio management via CRI, DFI programs, and Risk Participations.
