In this session, we explored what true freedom from the Law means for a believer under the New Covenant. Romans 7 verse 6 explains how Christians are released not only from the power of sin but also from the authority of the Law through their union with Jesus Christ. The teaching focused on the transition from the Old Testament system to the New Testament reality. Believers no longer relate to God through external rules and regulations but through a living relationship empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Law served an important purpose in God’s plan, but it was never meant to be the final way of relating to Him. 👉 Highlights from this session: • Released from the Law. Believers are no longer under the Law’s authority because they now belong to Christ. • Law as a unity. The Law cannot be divided into moral, ceremonial, and civil parts. It stands or falls as a whole. • Purpose of the Law. The Law functioned as a guardian to lead people to Christ but was never meant to give life. • Christ fulfills the Law. Jesus is the fulfillment and true interpreter of the Old Testament. • New Covenant living. God’s law is now written on hearts through the work of the Holy Spirit. • Freedom with responsibility. Freedom from the Law does not lead to lawlessness but to joyful obedience flowing from a changed heart. 📖 “But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.” Romans 7 verse 6 This session reminds us that Christian freedom is relational and Spirit-led. We do not obey God to earn acceptance. We obey because we already belong to Him, transformed from the inside out by grace.
