In this vlog I’m sharing a simple, normal winter day here in Finland. I start by cleaning out the fridge, tidying the living room, and misting my houseplants. Later I finish my Christmas puzzle, put away the dishes from the dishwasher, wrap the last of the Christmas presents, and do a bit of knitting. I also make a simple dinner — pea and chickpea patties — before heading out for a quiet evening walk in the city to look at the Christmas lights. Just everyday routines from my ordinary life, with a focus on simple and frugal living. A small note: my camera/microphone had some technical issues while filming, so a few short parts of the video are almost muted due to static noise in the background. Thank you for your understanding. If you enjoy living alone vlogs, normal daily life, frugal living, winter routines, and life in Finland, I hope you’ll enjoy this video. Thanks for watching! Thaw the peas. Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Finely chop the onion. 2. First, puree the peas with a hand blender. Then add the chickpeas and puree until coarse. There may be small lumps in the mixture! 3. Mix the chopped onion, flour and spices into the peas. It is easiest to mix the mixture by hand! 4. Shape the mixture into patties and fry them in a frying pan in plenty of oil until nicely browned on both sides.
