Channeling my inner razbuten here... I'm back at it again with another video featuring one of my favorite games, Super Mario 64, although it wasn't always one of my favorites. While my N64 nostalgia is usually reserved for games like Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo Kazooie, in 2017 that all changed when I replayed Super Mario 64 with a new perspective. I've loved it deeply since then, but struggled to find the best way to represent how I felt. Years later I'd begun speedrunning the game and desperately wanted to talk about it, finding my words when I watched my girlfriend play through Whomp's Fortress for the first time, comparing my gameplay to hers.
