If you have ever wanted to know how to make a basic jam swiss roll cake, here are the ingredients and recipe. 80g / 2.8oz plain flour 0.04p 1 tsp baking powder 0.03p 3 eggs 0.39p 80g sugar 0.10p 2 tbsp veg oil 0.04p 100g / 3.5oz Jam 0.25p Total cost 0.85p 5 servings at 0.17p each. Grease and line a baking tray (about (30cm x 20cm) Mix the eggs and sugar together for a good 4 - 5 minutes with a hand whisk. Until the batter is light and creamy. Add the oil and whisk in. Sieve in the flour and baking powder. Fold this into the egg and sugar mix. Gently spread the mixture out onto the baking tray.
