Agostino Furtias Boavida is the Inclusive Education Coordinator at KATILOSA and a former graduate of ICFP. Having lived in Timor-Leste his entire life, including many years in Baucau, Aogostino has a deep understanding of his local community and the ongoing need for greater disability inclusion across the country. As a young educator, Agostino is passionate about creating learning environments where all students feel valued, supported, and included. His work at KATILOSA focuses on helping students with disabilities access education that meets their individual needs, while also supporting teachers and families to better understand inclusive practices. In this interview, Agostino shares his hopes for a future where young people with disabilities in Timor-Leste are given equal opportunities to learn, participate, and thrive.
