Hello & Welcome to Harnetty Railways In this video we review day 2 of The East Lancashire Railway's Autumn Steam Gala on Saturday 16th of October 2021. Unfortunately recently returned to traffic ex LMS jinty 47298 was deemed not fit to compete for the remainder of the gala due to issues with her vacuum system. We start in the early morning at Burrs as we see visiting loco The Dinmore Manor Locomotive Ltd's 7820 Dinmore Manor resides on The Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway on an ecs working to Rawtenstall ready to work the 1st train of the day from Rawtenstall to Heywood. A short while later we see resident loco The Bury Standard 4 Grp's standard tank 80136 on a parcels working to Ramsbottom. We head to the station at Burrs for a brief ride behind the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway duo in The L&Y trust saddle tank 51456 & Andy Booth's A class 52322 as far as Summerseat & we see the pair head off to Rawtenstall. We have a brief stint at Bury Bolton Street as we see The Furness Railway Trust's GWR 56XX tank 5643 & visiting loco from The Mid Hants Railway based Mickey Mouse Ivatt 2-6-2 tank 41312. We carry onto Heywood behind 7820 Dinmore Manor & we have a ride behind her as far as Summerseat as we see 7820 depart with 80097 as banking engine. We head back to Heywood to have a full length ride behind the mickey mouse Ivatt tank to Rawtenstall. Our last lineside shot of this video is at Summerseat as we see 7820 Dinmore Manor on the mix gds to Ramsbottom & 80097 arriving & departing heading to Rawtenstall. We end this video we travelling behind the 2 GWR engines from Heywood to Rawtenstall. 5643 working the Heywood to Bury leg before 7820 Dinmore Manor takes over to work the last north bound train of the day to Rawtenstall on a semi non-stop working not calling at Burrs Country Park & Irwell Vale. We end as we approach the end of the line at Rawtenstall in the fading light as 7820 pulls into the station. Thanks for reading enjoy the film. #EastLancashireRailway #AutumnSteamGala
